MISSION STATEMENT

The Rohingya Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) is non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization registered in the United States. It is affiliated with the Burmese Rohingya Association of North America(BRANA), with a mission to provide humanitarian assistance for the forcefully displaced Rohingya ethnic minority of Myanmar and Rohingya communities seeking refuge in South and Southeast Asian countries. RHF is also committed to the advancement and social welfare of Rohingya community worldwide.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the Rohingya Humanitarian Foundations are to: 

  • Provide relief supplies, including food, medicine, water and water sources to forcefully displaced Rohingya of Myanmar in South and Southeast Asian countries

  •  Build shelter and religious structures, orphanages, assist with material supplies, and provide educational opportunities for men, women and children for the forcefully displaced Rohingya of Myanmar

  • Provide technical and logistic support to the international relief organizations in development and implementation of their humanitarian assistance projects

  • Monitor outbreaks of food/water crisis and healthcare issues in the internally and externally displaced persons camps and Rohingya villages in Arakan/Rakhine state and transmit the information to concerned international humanitarian relief organizations

  • Conduct data collection on the specific relief supply needs in the internally and externally displaced persons camps
